Bodenstreifen und Unterb\u00f6den sind sehr wichtige Eigenschaften von Bodenbel\u00e4gen. Unterb\u00f6den k\u00f6nnen die Lebensdauer von B\u00f6den erheblich verl\u00e4ngern. Sie haben hervorragende Nivellierungseigenschaften, verbessern die Akustik und fixieren den Bodenbelag auf dem Unterboden. Die Unterlagen eignen sich auch als D\u00e4mmstoff, was der Kunde vor allem beim Gehen und beim Gef\u00fchl der Fu\u00dfw\u00e4rme sp\u00fcrt. Mit den Sockelleisten hingegen wird das endg\u00fcltige Aussehen der B\u00f6den aufgewertet. Sie sind in der Regel in der gleichen Farbe wie der Bodenbelag gehalten, aber das ist nicht die Regel. Auf dem Markt gibt es eine gro\u00dfe Auswahl an Sockelleisten in verschiedenen Arten, L\u00e4ngen, Breiten und Materialien. Sie haben vor allem eine Schutzfunktion, die den Boden vor ablaufenden Fl\u00fcssigkeiten und unerw\u00fcnschter Feuchtigkeit sch\u00fctzt. Die Sicherheitsfunktion macht sich besonders bei Sockelleisten an Treppen bemerkbar. Die \u00e4sthetische Funktion spiegelt sich in der Verdeckung von Kabeln und einem gepflegteren Erscheinungsbild wider.
